There are very exciting time ahead for Sail Hebrides now that it has just taken possession of the Hebridean,a Jeanneau 42, for sail training purposes, from SeaHold (Scotland) Ltd.
Seahold has very generously gifted the boat to Sail Hebrides to increase its ability to introduce young Hebrideans to the marine environment.
It will be used throughout the Hebrides beginning in 2008 and will form the centrepiece of the 10th anniversary Hebridean Maritime Festival 14-19 July 2008.
We are looking forward to it being well used and to many young Hebrideans taking advantage of the great opportunities she offers.
